What do lsu fans say after a touchdown

Every college football fan should know that there are two stadiums known as "death valley" in college football. If you only refer to your own college stadium as "Death Valley" and dismiss the idea that another one exists, then you know that you're a true LSU Tigers fan. JaMarcus Russell had a very successful college career, which led to him being the No.

But ask any true die-hard LSU football fan, and they will tell you that Matt Mauk was a better college football quarterback than Russell was. Of course, Russell had the size of a defensive end, the natural athletic ability of a running back and one of the strongest arms in college football history, which also led to him being the No. But when it comes to better overall quarterbacks in college football, Mauk was the best over the past decade at LSU.

Matt Mauk sported an record during his two seasons as the Tigers' starting quarterback, including winning the National Championship. But most importantly, and this should seal the deal if there ever was an argument, Mauk's. To the average college football fan, it has become obvious that LSU and Alabama have developed a great rivalry over the past couple of years, which became especially evident after last year's regular season showdown was deemed as "The Game of the Century.

Of course, that rivalry hasn't been so competitive over the past couple of year's because Ole Miss has had such a poor athletic program as of late, but no matter how poor one team is at a given time, when it comes to history, LSU and Ole' Miss are true rivalries.

And Tulane, despite their poor athletics as well, is a close second. Every college football programs mascot has a story behind it, but there is no way that the average college football fan knows where Mike the Tiger comes from. Of course, there are multiple college football programs known as the Tigers, but I doubt that many have a story as unique as this one.

There wasn't a more popular nickname in all of college football last year than the "Honey Badger. Tyrann Mathieu, the Tigers' do-it-all cornerback, adopted the nickname after the media began describing his demeanor on the football field similar to that of a honey badger.

He is always chasing down his pray and dosen't let anyone intimidate him, no matter how big or small they may be. A true LSU football fan has become so accustom to the nickname that when they type "Honey Badger" into a google search, they expect to see Mathieu appear on their search.

It doesn't matter what your age is, if you proclaim to be an LSU fan, you've heard of Cannon and his magical run that took place in Tiger Stadium on Oct. It's something taught straight from the womb. On Halloween night, Cannon made one of the greatest punt returns in college football history to defeat the No. College football is built on tradition, and LSU's football tradition became richer when Cannon caught that punt and broke free for an yard touchdown.

If you go to an LSU game, be sure to watch the Tigers' student section whenever the band starts to play. A dance will follow. The students dance in unison. Bobbing their hands up and down and shouting obscenities while LSU's band plays " Neck " is commonplace. But the best of all is when LSU's defense makes a stop and the entire stadium bows as the band plays " Chinese Bandits. I do not believe it!

In the most unbelievable moment in LSU history, Marcus Randall dropped back, fired a Hail Mary, and after being tipped in the air, Devery Henderson reeled in a miraculous catch. The Tigers won on the last play of the game, and it is still to this day one of the craziest moments in college football history. Miles is a great coach. He really is. No matter how you look at it, it's hard not to tip your cap to the "Mad Hatter" for his record at LSU.

He constantly brings in great recruits and has talent for days. That makes LSU fans confident. However, Miles has another side to him as well. Sometimes Miles gets caught up in the game and makes a bad judgment call or fails to manage the clock correctly. Thus, when Miles is in the driver seat, Tiger fans are both confident that a championship-caliber team will take the field and nervous that Miles might screw it up in the end.

Tiger Stadium is absolutely perfect. It has many nicknames, but LSU fans simply call it home. It's the heart and soul of LSU fans, and it fills to capacity with passionate fans. Though the stadium is not the largest in college football, it's certainly the loudest.

Paul "Bear" Bryant once famously said it's "the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum. Hodson found Eddie Fuller in the back of the end zone for the go-ahead score, and the eruption by LSU fans produced a minor earthquake.
